About sub-ID:
The duo sub-ID, comprised of producer/engineer Brad Bowden and bassist Alana Rocklin, represents an eclectic fusion of genres, ranging from psychedelic EDM to jazz improv, and beyond. Both members use their production, sound design and musical talents to create a truly unforgettable concert experience.
Brad and Alana have worked with a wide variety of talented artists both as sub-ID and solo. They joined forces to form sub-ID in 2005, and the partnership launched each member into the world of underground electronic music. Currently, Alana and Brad lend their talents to electronic /rock pioneers STS9, Alana as their Bassist and Brad as their house engineer/co-producer. Individually, they have worked with a wide variety of artists including Rick Ross, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Lupe Fiasco, NEEDLZ, Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten and many more. They have produced virtual instruments for companies Native Instruments, Toontrack, Rossum-Electro Music, and many more.
